In 1991 I bought the car made in 1984. Had been using it till 2002 - that makes 18 years - from which the last 11 worked perfectly (and I suppose the first seven as well :-) ). Then gave it to my nephew who drovew it for another 2 years. Then I am losing the track....
Was my first car and still I think also the best one :-). Can't imagine any of those following could live and work for 20+ years.

I have a N12 Nisssan Cherry and i simply love-it ... 350 000 kilometers driven and still can do 175KM/Hour on highway .But i have some tehnical problems lately and i can`t find a service manual for it anywhere (except buying it from haynes).If someone can help me with a .pdf version of the manual i would areciate it.Thanx a lot !

Ilove my Cherry (E10) but when i drive ,it smells petrol inside the cockpit and specially from the back untill middle....Noone knows what cause that..!!I'm desperate and if i won'd find it untill August,my Cherry will die.........If u can help me,please contact with me...thank you!

One afternoon, I was in the backyard hanging the laundry when an old, tired-looking dog wandered into the yard. I could tell from his collar and well-fed belly that he had a home. But when I walked into the house, he followed me, sauntered down the hall and fell asleep in a corner. An hour later, he went to the door, and I let him out. The next day he was back. He resumed his position in the hallway and slept for an hour.

Hi everybody! I have a cherry '84 1.5 GL with 370000 km on the odometer, now it needs major body restoration. The restoration will be done this year. The engine does not smoke badly (yet). Cherry really is a good car if you take care of it. Iâ??ve done a 60mm conical air filter conversion, I currently have a conical blue JR filter. Iâ??m going to buy a stainless jap muffler (apexi or something) and perhaps next year Iâ??ll buy a bodykit from jetspeed.com.au. This site rulez!

Hi,I owned a Nissan Langley for 13 years,gave me reliable service,except for mild overheating occasionally,and rust problems-the car having to be scrapped at 285000 km due to the cylinder head gasket blowing,and the state of the bodywork making repair uneconomical[the car had never been garaged,and living at the coast]However,at the end of its life,I can honestly say that I had good reliable service from it,coupled with fuel consumption of about 13km per litre.

Hello, nice site. I am from Holland and a Nissan/Datsun fan. I have owned a few N12 Cherries in the past. A bleu 1.3 from 1984 and a grey one with bleu and black interior. (Looks nice!) It was a "Trend" version, only in white or Grey. Cherries getting very rare here in Holland (Export to Poland? ;-) Like to have a early N12 (1982/83) in red mettalic with red interior. Hard to find!

Hey. Nice site... Got my Cherry 84, don 165000km. it says here that top speed (on a 1.3) is 150... MY top speed is 180 km\h, so u where wrong there. Styling for Cherry is easy, yust buy a Ford Fiesta XR2, or buy styling for Mazda 323, or universal styling. Easy

wanted to now if any one has had or now of a nissan cherry uropa. it had an alpha 1400 cc engine and runing gear . i was told it was a special adition for nissan have tried to find another one but no luck can any one help.

Just recentley bought a 1985 N12 1.3. Body fairly good and interior immaculate. Need help finding body parts. Plan to restore completely
